Why Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic coatings offer a variety of automotive benefits.
Better Engine Performance: Ceramic coating helps to increase the speed and maintain better quality of exhaust gas flow. By making sure you have a smooth laminar flow of exhaust, increased horsepower is a desired side effect. Back pressure is also eliminated by eliminating the need for exhaust gas to turn back onto itself, which allows for more effective release of exhaust.
Reduced Thermal Cycling: Ceramic coating helps to reduce thermal cycle and reduce surface temperatures, thus reducing stress to cast housings on turbos, and can vastly reduce thermal degradation in headers and exhaust manifolds that happen naturally over time.
Protection & Longevity: Ceramic coating helps to reduce corrosion from various elements including road chemicals (tar, salt), heat generation from an engine, and internal exhaust gases.
Reduces Under-The-Hood Temperature through Heat Retention and Dissipation: Ceramic coating helps to retain and dissipate heat through the exhaust system, instead of permeating outward and through the engine bay where it can degrade and damage other engine components like wire harnesses, spark plugs, and other plastic parts.
Appearance: Ceramic coating is useful for all manor of components on a car, while also vastly improving the look of parts that are vulnerable to rusting.
Color Options: Cast Iron Grey, Black, Brushed Silver
Pricing will be determined by a number of variables, including: complexity of the design of the manifold, size, weight, etc. Pricing may be estimated via phone/email correspondence. Some cast iron pieces are, by virtue of their casting composition, not suitable for coating, and in the rare case of this happening, we'll consult with you prior to fulfilling any services. We reserve the right to inspect the parts upon arrival and may revise pricing upon inspection if the piece requires additional services not anticipated upon the initial consultation.
